Finally an Update

We're long overdue for an update, so here it goes. All N Poker co-founder Ryan Maloney recently relocated to San Diego, California. Our primary operations continue to be based in Northern California, although we are considering a move to Las Vegas, Nevada in advance of the 2005 World Series of Poker. After taking a month to re-evaluate our business priorities we are looking forward to expanding the All N Poker brand into other markets. With baseball coming up we plan on producing and distributing a line of Dominate the Diamond/All N Baseball brand clothing. We've also received several different offers for providing additional products to our customers via the All N Poker website. If you have any ideas about what else you'd like to see us see please post a comment to this post. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the continued support.

A Call for Pro Players

ATTENTION: Any professional players looking for a WSOP buy-in please email All N Poker CEO Will Hunt. We are considering amending the auction terms and use the proceeds to stake a pro at the WSOP.

Watching and Waiting

ALL N POKER --- AUCTION COUNTDOWN: 6 days 18 hours remaining

I was in San Francisco today, but unfortunately was not able to stop by the MacWorld convention. As the title says we're still watching and waiting as the auction clock ticks away...

If you know of any professional players that would like us to sponsor their buy-in at the WSOP with proceeds from our auction (in exchange they wear an All N Poker shirt or hat and share a percentage of any win) just have them email me (will@allnpoker.com).

Hopefully we'll be talking with some reporters tomorrow about our auction and plans for BrandFormers and BrandFormers.com

Until then, take care...

Musical Interlude, 98 Rock & the new season of 24

Amidst the excitement of the various eBay auctions going on right now, I thought I'd do a "mini" post about the new iPod mini I got for Christmas (thanks Dad).

I put my new the mini into NLTHE tournament action over the weekend at a $25 buy-in tourney at the Limelight in Sacramento. The original point of going to the Limelight was to give away some product to the contestants in a NLTHE tournament sponsored by local radio station 98 Rock. Needless to saw that plan fell apart when they decided to run a tourney for everyone else there.

In any event, the tunes really helped ease the grind and listening to Kenny Rodgers remind me when to hold em and when to fold em definitely kept me from playing some marginal cards.

So in honor of the iPod, here's my current top 5 list:
1. Numb/Encore - Jay Z/Linkin Park
2. Like Toy Soliders - Eminem
3. Jazzy Belle - Outkast
4. Long Way Home - ATB
5. The Gambler - Kenny Rodgers

I finished in 7th place (out of the money) going all in with a suited A 6 ... turns out I was up against an AJo. It was my one mistake of the tourney and it was the only one that counted.

In other (non-poker) news, did anyone else catch the season premiere of 24 (or the shows last night?). I had previously caught some of the first season and enjoyed it, but I'm hooked after the way they started this season and I RARELY watch TV.

Kudos to Fox for putting together a solid show and launching it like they did!

eBay Gone Wild

If you're thinking about doing an auction on eBay, believe me...you're not the only one.

In addition to the official All N Poker auction, there's another poker related auction being conducted by the one and only "Tiltboy"Dutch Boyd to stake him in a European tourney.

And in case you missed it, THIS GUY is selling his forehead as a billboard for 30 days...talk about prime real estate! The forehead auction started approximately 7 days ago, so by this time next week look for All N Poker in the headlines!!!

We've Gone All In

Someone once said, "If you want to be successful, you must either have a chance or take one."

Just as poker players do every time they go all in, by placing All N Poker up for sale on eBay today, we're taking a chance. As I state in the press release being issued in a few hours, selling All N Poker was an extremely difficult decision to make since I literally helped build it from the ground up. It took many hours and countless cups of coffee to design our first website (before the professional redesign we now have). Looking back on the many hours spent on marketing trips to Vegas and at the tables promoting our gear, it makes me smile to think about all the times someone asked where I got my "Dominate the Table" t-shirt or the "do you go all in?" hat.

It's been an absolute thrill meeting and interacting with the great people that make up the poker community both online and off. Special thanks to the Poker Prof for the incredible amount of time he gives bringing the Vegas poker world to the rest of us. Also thanks to Iggy and all the time spent on uber-posts over at Guinness and Poker. All N Poker owes Dr. Pauly a debt of gratitude for helping get our products to the bloggers at the WBPT and for his great recap of what the rest of us missed out on. I'd also like to thank Bill Rini and the many other incredible bloggers nice enough to support what we've established at All N Poker with links on their blogs and websites.

Our vision from the beginning at All N Poker was to give poker players a brand to call their own and that's exactly what we've done. I'm confident that the next owner of All N Poker will be able to continue building on our foundation and provide new and exciting products to poker players everywhere.

For those of us running All N Poker, we'll be shifting focus to our new project BrandFormers.com. So make sure to stay tuned as we take on Donald Trump and The Apprentice!

Don't forget to check out the auction and be sure to check back here as we follow the fate of All N Poker over the next 9 days.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and happy holidays...now it’s time to look forward to New Years and for All N Poker a major announcement on Monday, January 10th, 2005. I'll continue the more frequent updates for the next couple days before heading to South Lake Tahoe at the end of the week.
